What is the Meebits NFT collection?
Meebits is a collection of 20,000 3-D voxel characters ready for the metaverse created by Larva Labs, the masterminds behind the iconic CryptoPunks collection. Both CryptoPunks and Meebits were acquired by Yuga Labs, the company behind Bored Ape Yacht Club, back in March 2022.
Meebits: Metaverse Ready
The Meebits characters are already able to be played as metaverse characters in the Sandbox platform according to their announcement and teaser video released on October of 2022. Meebits holders will need to create a Sandbox account and connect their wallets to use their Meebits in game.

In addition to the surprise music release, the Meebits community members are also able to unlock their 3D Meebits NFTs which have been kept under wraps for many months. These 3D Meetbits characters can now become activated simply by connecting their wallets and signing a gasless transaction to verify their NFT.
Redeem the Physical Print of Your Meebits
The phases of the Meebits project, MB1, are set to be done through nine separate releases. The first of these is MB1.1 in which users can claim an exclusive 1-of-1 physical print of their Meebits along with a certificate of authenticity.
The claiming period for claiming a physical print is said to end on November 17th, and it is expected to begin shipping in 3 to 6 weeks sometime after that so make sure you don’t miss out if you are fortunate enough to hold one of these babies as your own.
Yuga Labs sure knows how to make a big splash as they’ve been the talk of the town during this past week. The floor price of the Meebits collection shot up from 2.5 ETH all the way up to 3.75 ETH after news about the hub and the additional utilities were released less than a week ago.
