NFT Market Update
The NFT market volume declined over the weekend after seeing an abnormal spike the previous week when the daily trade volume went as high as 25.5 million, which was the highest amount we’ve seen in months. The daily trade volume on OS was down by -5.9% yesterday, with slightly more than 14.6 million traded.

Crypto Update
The cryptocurrency market has been moving sideways for the past four days in a row, and nothing much has been going on. The global cryptocurrency market cap was up by +0.2% yesterday, with a total valuation of slightly more than 1.23 trillion dollars.
Bitcoin is up by +0.7% and trading at $24,812. Ether is down by -0.8% and trading at $1,980.

Rare Apepe YC
Rare Apepe YC (Rare Apepe Yacht Club) is a free-to-mint 10k derivative collection inspired by both Bored Ape Yacht Club and Rare Pepes, although unaffiliated.
The project is an intersection of Memes and NFT culture, and it is a collaboration between Rare Labs (an NFT Studio), Jiro (BAYC holder), and kntvlr (Rare Pepes Collector).
The Rare Apepe collection launched on March 5th, 2022, for 0.05 ETH. On Jul 31, 2022, after the community’s suggestion and the team’s decision, Rare Apepes was made into a free mint, allowing Rare Apepes to reach the hands of even more people.
Since then, the floor price of the collection has reached new heights as the collection has seen more than 5.9k ETH worth of sales transactions to date. When the Rare Apepe YC turned into a free mint, the floor price only averaged around 0.02 ETH.
Today, the floor price of Rare Apepe YC sits at 0.62 ETH. Similar to the original BAYC and Mutant Ape Collections, all Rare Apepe YC holders will receive a syringe airdrop allowing holders to mint a Mutant Apepe sometime in the future

Baby Rare Apepe YC
Baby Rare Apepe YC is a derivative collection of 5,555 ‘baby ape pepes’ inspired by the original Rare Apepe YC collection, which is also a separate derivative collection.
Baby Rare Apepes are an homage to Bored Ape Yacht Club and Rare Pepes, just like RAYC (Rare Apepe Yacht Club), although none of the projects are affiliated with each other.

Genuine Undead is a free-to-mint collection of 9,999 pixelated undead character PFPs. The project made its first Tweet on August 13th and launched its stealth drop the same day.
The community has been rallying behind this collection due to its high-quality pixel art and the meticulous detail behind each trait. There are a total of 5,995 NFTs with classic traits, 3,996 NFTs with cyberpunk traits, and eight legendaries.
The Genuine Undead collection has seen more than 201 ETH worth of trade volume since its launch less than 48 hours ago. The collection floor price sits at 0.03 ETH at writing.

8liens is a free-to-mint collection of 10k pixelated alien NFTs. The 8liens collection has no secondary market royalties; instead, 10% of the collection is split amongst four founders, which will be locked for one year. Another 10% of the collection will be stored in the 8lien treasury for development purposes.
All 8liens will be CC0, excluding the 1/1 pieces, which will be determined individually by each artist. The 8liens has no roadmap, and it is purely NFT art inspired by the CryptoPunks collection.
The floor price of the 8lien collection reached a peak of 0.53 ETH last week before its reveal phase. Since the reveal, the collection has dropped significantly in value, and the current floor price of the collection sits at 0.14 ETH.
