Everton FC Set to Launch NFT Shirts For Metaverse Avatars

August 4, 2022

Fashion-centric NFT platform Fancurve is teaming up with Premier League football club Everton to launch a collection of club-branded NFT shirts that fans’ metaverse avatars can wear.

To ensure that the assets remain relevant for longer than just one season and ensure no third-party IP issues are violated, the digital shirts will be original designs instead of replica kits. They will come in different rarities and be curated by Fancurve’s in-house team of 3D fashion designers, who will draw on inspiration from the club’s 144-year history.

Although the release date and price of the collection remain TBA (although we know it’ll drop before the end of the year), fans can register their interest in the project on the Fancurve website, the same virtual place in which they’ll eventually drop on.
