What is ETHER
There is very little information on what ETHER is or is going to be. Currently, there are only 3 Tweets with no description of what the project is going to involve. There is no website, therefore ETHER is open for interpretation. By looking at the existing Tweets, we can see that it’s likely going to be an anime artstyle NFT project. The art by Vii is very clean and it’s clearly being well received by the community. Despite the lack of information, engagement numbers are very strong. All of the current Tweets have more than 5,000 impressions which is impressive considering the bear market.
Roadmap
As there is literally no information available on ETHER, we do not know what the roadmap will consist of. Alternatively, there may not be a roadmap at all. Recently, money has been moving away from profile picture projects and flowing into actual art collections. Looking at Vii’s history as an artist, this could be an art only project. In time, as more information becomes available, we’ll know for sure.
Team
Apart from Vii, we do not know who else is powering ETHER. Saying this, it was recently announced that Cryptovalley will be advising for the project.
Vii is a well known anime art-style digital artist with multiple 5-figure NFT sales. She was one of the first artists in the space to make phygitals and has worked on the biggest projects such as RTFKT, Sony and Faze. She boasts an impressive following of 83,7k on Twitter and her engagement levels are amazing..
Cryptovalley is the founder of 0xValley and also an advisor for Soundmint. He has an Azuki as his profile picture and his bio claims that he turned 5 ETH into 2,000 ETH in a year, which indicates that he knows what he’s doing. He boasts 39.2k followers on Twitter and the community have reacted well to him becoming an advisor.
Analysis
Bullish case
As we continue to weather the storm of this bear market, only a few exceptional projects will be able to enjoy success. From what we’ve seen so far, ETHER certainly looks like it’s going to be one of them. The fact that Vii is a proven, reputable and well known artist in the space means that more people want to be involved. Her previous NFT pieces all have 5-figure sales transactions recorded, which is bullish! In addition, there has been a shift where money is now flowing into genuine art collections, which could further be beneficial for ETHER.
Despite the lack of information, its Twitter following has gained a lot of traction very quickly and engagement is strong. Many influencers in the space are following such as Champ, Popeye, BentoBoi, Ryandcrypto and more. While this is nothing to judge a project on, it’s a good indicator that it has great potential.
Reservations
At present, there are little to no potential concerns for ETHER as a NFT project. Everything is looking very good so far despite the lack of information. The one thing that is worth mentioning is that the max supply is 10,000, which is considered to be very high these days. This, in combination with external factors such as the current market climate, could potentially hinder its success. However, looking at the development so far, the WGMI team thinks that this is very unlikely.
