NFT Market Update
The trading volume on OpenSea has been holding relatively steady over the weekend and it looks like we may have bottomed out for the time being. The daily trading volume on OpenSea yesterday was up +17% for the day with approximately $30.4 million dollars traded.

Crypto Update
The global cryptocurrency market cap was looking bearish over the weekend, but we’ve seen a nice resurgence during the last 24 hours, and most major altcoins were in the green.
Bitcoin is up approximately +5.4% in the last 24 hours at $30,597, and Ether is up +6.6% at $1,900. Solana is up +8.5% for the day and trading at $46 while Avalanche is up +10.9% and trading over $27 per AVAX.

Elftown.wtf
Elftown was a free-to-mint project inspired by the recent success of goblintown. Elftown seems to be a derivative project that’s promoting elves instead of goblins, but the M.O. seems to be the same: Create an ugly NFT project with zero utility. The current floor price of this collection sits at 0.18 ETH, and this collection is the top trending project in the last 24 hours by sales. There have been more than 1.6k ETH in volume traded at the time of writing which is a spectacular feat for any free to mint project.

Toto by Snobs was another degen free-to-mint project that recently took off. Toto has a total supply count of 5,678 NFTs and the project was first minted over the weekend. The floor price of this collection went as high as 0.054 ETH at the top. Flippr Access Pass is the latest trading tool platform to hit the NFT Space. The mint price for this collection ranged from 0.09 ETH to 0.12 ETH, and the tools are scheduled to go live in about a weeks time. The collection was intended to have a max supply of 6k NFTs, but it ended up not selling out and only 4,600 were ever minted. The Trippin’ Ape Tribe is a 10k collection of 2D hand-illustrated monkey NFTs on the Solana blockchain, which was one of the most hyped projects to launch on Solana. Trippin’ Ape began its mint phase for 4 SOL each. The 10k collection of the Trippin Ape Tribe ended up selling out within minutes, and the floor price of this collection shot up to more than 70 SOL at one point. Certain NFTs from the collection sold for as high as 180 SOL and 160 SOL. The floor price of this collection sat at a 53 SOL range on Friday right before the start of the weekend. The current floor price sits at 34.6 SOL, which is about a 33% drop in floor price since last Friday.

The goblintown.wtf is a generative art 2D avatar collection of ugly low-browed goblin characters. The project has no roadmap, no Discord, nor any utilities, and it’s quite distinguishable from other cutesy characters which used to be the meta in the NFT space at one point. This free-to-mint project ended up taking NFT world by storm, and the current floor price of this collection sits at a whopping 2.68 ETH at the time of writing. There has been more than 13.4k worth of ETH traded in total volume for this ugly PFP collection.
