NFT Market Update
After a record breaking $476.1m traded on OpenSea on Sunday, there was a -38% decrease yesterday to $296.4m. Despite the heavy decrease in activity, yesterday’s trading volume was still three time more than the standard volume that we have been experienced over the past three weeks – largely thanks to the activity triggered by the launch of the Otherside land sale.

Crypto Update
The general downtrend for the major cryptocurrencies continues with Bitcoin down 0.8% over the last 24 hours at $38,180 and Ether very slightly up 0.1% at $2,809.
Project Launches
Something Token
Something Token first launched on April 07 2022, and it remained stagnant with close to zero volume for a month as it sat around a 0.1 ETH floor price. Suddenly, in the last 24 hours, this collection pumped close to 500%, which is far from the norm. The pump was a result of a $6.9m fundraise by its founders, Americana, which has a core product (the NFTA Universal Chip) that can be attached to a physical object and links that object to a blockchain – essentially, turning physical objects into NFTs.

Otherdeed for Otherside
The cost to mint a land at the time was 305 Ape coins + gas fees. The 305 ape coins were worth approximately 2 ETH or $6000 during the mint phase, and the average gas fees required for transactions to go through was more than the cost to mint and incredible FUD ensued. In the last 24 hours, the floor price of Otherdeed lands dropped from 4.7 ETH to 3.75 ETH where the collection currently sits. Every person who was able to mint a land ended up paying a minimum of 4 ETH, so the collection is currently trading below the incurred mint price. Valuable lands with ‘kodas’ and ‘mega kodas’ sold for hundreds of ETH while the floor price of the more common lands is selling below mint cost.

ENS: Ethereum Name Service
Ethereum Name Service (ENS) NFTs are domains secured on the Ethereum blockchain that users can purchase and use as their Ethereum address, IPFS hash, or website URL. The first ENS NFT was minted on January 29th, 2020, and just in the last 48 hours, more than 131k new ENS NFTs have been minted. The floor price and the sales volume of ENS NFTs have started to dwindle during the past week as the hype surrounding 10kclub – a private club that currently has “No roadmap. Just the first 10k numbers on the Ethereum blockchain” – started to fade.

Impostors Genesis UFOs
Ellio Trades’, a popular YouTube NFT influencer, dropped his Impostors Genesis UFO collection today, free for all Impostors Genesis NFT holders who had 1800 $BLOOD tokens to mint. We are currently in Phase 1 of the Genesis UFO roadmap, and the current placeholder images will be redeemable for the 3D generative art in phase 2 of the Genesis UFOs roadmap. At the time of writing, 1,800 $BLOOD tokens are worth approximately $252, whereas the floor price of the Genesis UFO’s is 0.269 ETH (approximately $840), which is around 3x the initial mint price for those who are holding/staking an Impostors Genesis NFT.

Oddstronauts 1.0
The Oddstronauts is an NFT collection created from the vision of two unlikely friends who eventually became brothers, Alyo and Owen Khang. Aylo and Owen set out to innovate NFT utility by implementing NFT technology into their real-world retail business, a family-owned boba shop. The mint whitelist mint phase for Oddstronauts began earlier today with a fixed price of 0.05 ETH. There are 2.9k Oddstronauts minted out of an intended supply of 10,000 NFTs, and, likely, this collection will not be able to sell out as there is very little room for profit after paying the mint fees and gas fees.
