The trading volume on OpenSea has been hovering in the $16M range this past week. The trading volume on OpenSea was up by +10.9% yesterday, with just over 17.3 million dollars traded.

Crypto Update
The cryptocurrency market has been in the green for the past two days making up for the losses over the weekend. The global cryptocurrency market cap was up by +3.9% yesterday, with a total valuation of just over 958 billion dollars.
Bitcoin is up by +5.2% and trading at just over $20,920. Ether is up by +6.8% and trading at $1145. Solana and Avalanche have also had huge pumps, SOL up by +14.3% and trading just under $37, and AVAX is up by +13% and trading around $17.50.

Serious Investor
Serious Investor is a free-to-mint 10k collection hand drawn investors as PFPs.
The main slogan behind the Serious Investors collection is to “bring back professionalism to the blockchain” however, the project is 100% degen, so much so that there are mentions of goblin piss and goblin burgers as part of its lore.
The collection launched its mint phase on June 17th, and all their NFTs came with a standard cc0, creative commons license.
The Serious Investor project has less than 2k followers on Twitter and a very low engagement rate on their posts, but this didn’t stop them from selling out of their entire 10k supply.
The collection floor price sits at 0.005 ETH at writing, and the Serious Investor NFT collection is one of the top trending projects on OpenSea for the day.

JailTime
JailTime is a free-to-mint collection of 5k NFTs which come in the form of a digital “court summons” where all dynamic player content is updated upon transfer of Summons to a new owner.
The project has no roadmap, no discord, only jail. JailTime first launched less than 48 hours ago, and currently, it is one of the top trending projects on OS in terms of transaction volume.
The floor price of this collection sits at 0.028 ETH at writing, and the collection has seen a total of 38 ETH in volume traded at the time of writing.

RR/BAYC
RR/BAYC is a collection of 6,446 derivatives inspired by the original BAYC collection. The artist behind RR/BAYC is Ryder Ripps, a well-known personality in the NFT space for his satire and poignant perspectives.
The RR/BAYC collection is a recontextualized “re-minting” of the BAYC images using similar yet different traits.
Ripps initially made a name for himself with his early experiment with counterfeit CryptoPunks, which ended with Larva Labs failing to make their copyright claims stick versus Ryder Ripps and his derivative Cryptopunks.
RR/BAYC uses the same kind of satire and appropriation to protest and educate people regarding The Bored Ape Yacht Club and the framework of NFTs, and the very definition of digital ownership itself.
The current floor price of RR/BAYC sits at 1.33 ETH at writing, making this one of the most successful collections on OpenSea this past week.

Kodachrome
Kodachrome is a collection of 1,500 previously exposed rolls of film from bygone eras from approximately 1945 to 1995.
The film has come from various sources – thrift stores, flea markets, estate sales, and more. Each exposure was chemically developed in a lab, reimagined as a new work of digital art, and created as an NFT using blockchain technology.
The mint price for Kodachrome was 0.024 ETH, and the collection sits at 0.03 ETH at writing before its reveal.

Demonix is a collection of 6,666 female demon NFTs that has a website and a Discord server, unlike many of its degen competitor projects.
Demonix has an anonymous team and has close to 50k followers on Twitter, but they have a very low engagement rate on their social media channels despite this.
The story of Demonix begins with the goddess Venus who cried, and rocks were made of her tears and scattered across the Earth. These rocks later turned into onyx stones.
These onyx stones carry the goddess’s energy, and all the women who found these jewels scattered across the land went straight to the underworld, gaining the strength of black magic.
The mint price for the Demonix NFTs was 0.007 ETH. The current floor price of this collection sits at 0.004 ETH at writing.

Candy Robbers
Candy Robbers is a collection of 5,000 hand-drawn, animated NFTs randomly generated on the Ethereum Network, which initially launched more than 3 weeks ago.
Earlier this week, the Candy Robbers team initiated a free mint phase, and everyone was allowed to mint 1 Candy Robber for free + gas. Later that same day, they opened a second phase where initial minters could mint an additional NFT for 0.03 ETH if they chose to.
The free mint day for Candy Robbers was successful as they sold out of their entire collection in less than an hour.
As an exclusive utility for holding a Candy Robbers NFT, there will be monthly “robbery events” where holders could participate to win various traits and attributes that will help enhance their current NFT.
The issue with Candy Robbers is that it cost 0.069 ETH for previously whitelisted members and 0.08 ETH for the public sale when they first launched 3 weeks back. Now the project changed to a free-to-mint project which is great for onboarding new investors, but those who invested early in this project are at a loss.
Candy Robbers is still one of the top trending projects on OpenSea, and the floor price sits at 0.015 ETH at the time of writing, with the collection having slightly more than 135 ETH worth of trading volume since its launch.
