The latest Game Jam from The Sandbox is a medieval-themed competition called ’Tower Defense’.
To be in with a chance of winning the 15000 $SAND and NFT rewards that are up for grabs, participants must create a tower defense game through The Sandbox Game Maker software.
The prize-distribution structure will see 6000 $SAND and 4 ‘The Crazos’ NFTs be handed to 1st place, 3500 $SAND and 3 ‘The Crazos’ NFTs handed to 2nd place, and 2000 $SAND and 2 ‘The Crazos’ NFTs handed to 3rd place. Those who finish 4th-10th will each receive 500 $SAND and 1 ’The Crazos’ NFT.
Crazos is an Avatar NFT inspired by Crazy Defense Heroes, a free-to-play tower defense mobile game that uses $TOWER, the token created by the competition’s partners Tower Token.
The top 10 winners will also receive a The Sandbox Game Jam winner’s badge NFT and a 399 USD Crazy Defense Heroes in-game item package. In contrast, all participants will receive 3 Crazos mint passes and a 199 USD Crazy Defense Heroes in-game item package.
The Game Jam begins on July 25th, with submissions having to be made before August 14th at 3 PM UTC.
Submission gathering and voting will occur from August 15th till September 4th, and the all-important results will be announced on September 11th.
