Snapchat is the latest in the long list of social media platforms to introduce Web3 elements into its user experience.
As youu2019d expect with the premise of the photo-sharing app, the Web3 infusion will come through allowing users to show off their NFTs as filters.
Such a feature would see users being able to convert their NFTs into augmented reality filters against real-world backdrops. Through this, the app hopes to form partnerships with third parties in order to help creators create avenues of monetisation by displaying their NFTs.u00a0
The feature is said to launch in August, however as with other social media sitesu2019 forays into NFTs, it will initially only be on offer to a select number of creators.
