Manchester City, the blue half of Manchester, and its shirt suppliers ‘Puma’ are launching a 1/1 digital art NFT to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its historic and inaugural Premier League title win. The NFT will be centred around Sergio Aguero’s 94th minute winning goal, which snatched the title away from City’s fiercest rivals, Manchester United.
The digital artwork, which has been curated by renown digital artist Musketon, features a unique, Manchester City-themed clockwork environment with Sergio Aguero’s goal-scoring PUMA boot – as well as the numbers ’93:20’ serving as its vocal point. As many will already know, such numbers represent the exact time in which the era-defining goal was scored.
In addition to the artwork, the owner of the NFT will also receive a limited edition pair (1/120) of PUMA ULTRA football boots, which have been designed with the same colour palette of the original PUMA v1.11 boots that Aguero was wearing. The boot also features the iconic “Manchester City are still alive here” commentary from commentator Martin Tyler, custom 93:20 graphics on the outside of the boot, and the famous ‘Agueroooooooo!’ line on its footbed.
By design, the ’93:20’ NFT will drop on MakersPlace on May 13th 2022, exactly 10 years on from the unforgettable fixture versus QPR.
