1. Clip art
This shop is making over $29k per month selling clip art. It has made over $3m in revenue since it opened.
Clip art is a timeless digital product that many people use to spruce up their designs. Whether it’s for scrapbooking, party invitations, or social media graphics, clip art is an extremely helpful way of enhancing your graphics.
Here’s how to create them using AI tools.
Step1: Use ChatGPT to brainstorm clip art themes
You can create a successful clip art product in almost any theme. If you’re struggling for ideas, then use ChatGPT to help you brainstorm.
Prompt: I want to sell clip art as a digital product on Etsy. Provide a list of 10 clip art themes that will be in high demand on Etsy.
Step 2: Use Midjourney to create the art
We can use Midjourney to create stunning graphics that can be sold as Clip Art on Etsy. If you don’t know how to use Midjourney, then check out this Midjourney guide.
You can create beautiful art from very simple prompts. For example, let’s say you want to make clip art for restaurants to use on their menus and social media. You could use the prompt “clip art for burgers”. Then repeat this for every single popular food item and you have a package of food-related clip art you can sell on Etsy.
Advanced prompts
If you want to take your clip art to the next level, then you can add details to your prompts to make them meet a particular style and design. Here are a few examples.

Clip art needs to be sold as a PNG file without a background. To remove the background from the image, you can use tools like Photoshop, Canva, Shutterstock or PhotoPea.

2. Virtual Backgrounds
Since the pandemic in 2020, the amount of people working from home has skyrocketed. That means a lot of us sit on Zoom calls every day and invite people to look into our kitchens, living rooms or wherever else we may take our calls.

Marry Me Paper Boutique is a shop on Etsy that has sold over $3.25m worth of stationary products for weddings. They sell things like wedding invitation templates, and you could easily replicate the products they are selling by using Midjourney.
To make wedding invitation templates, play around with the following prompts:

Prompt: A picture of the wedding invitation to be held on May 4 which is written in Korea
You’ll notice the Midjourney results have randomized text on them. Simply use tools like PhotoPea or Canva to remove the text and include your own.
Take them and put them into PhotoPea. Use Canva to add text.
5. Mockup Photos
There are hundreds of thousands of e-commerce businesses online that sell posters, phone covers, t-shirts and other printed products. What do all these businesses have in common? They use mockup photos to sell their products.
