Australian indie band ‘Boy & Bear’ has teamed up with American Express (Amex) to launch its inaugural NFT collection. The collection comes amid Amex’s upcoming music festival ‘Back The Night,’ which is why it is entitled ‘Boy & Bear x Back The Night: The Collection’.
Minted on the carbon-neutral NFT marketplace Fanaply, the collection entails three artworks, each of which resembling the artwork of the band’s most recent single ‘State of Flight’. There are three tiers of digital assets in the collection, starting with the Blue tier which has 200 NFTs which can be picked up for $15 a piece. Then there is the Gold tier, which has four NFTs available at $200 each. Finally, there is the Platinum tier, which features a 1/1 NFT which can only be picked up via an auction which ends today at 10PM BST.
Each NFT holder will also gain access other Boy & Bear experiences and merchandise, as well bonus benefits to enjoy throughout the ‘Back The Night’ music festival which takes place on Sunday in Sydney, Australia (with Boy & Bear’s performance taking place at Surly’s American Tavern in Surry Hills). In purchasing a Boy & Bear x Back The Night NFT, holders will also be contributing to the Australian music industry, as 70% of revenue from the collection’s sale will go to the ’Support Act’ charity.
